1tablespoonbuttermelted
1tablespoonsesame seeds
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook the Ground Beef
Place a medium-sized skillet on the stove and spray with Pam or add a few teaspoons of vegetable oil. This keeps the hamburger from sticking to the skillet while it cooks. Turn the heat to medium-high and let it heat for a moment or two, place the ground beef in the skillet. Use a fork or spatula to break the beef apart as it cooks, as an option you can sprinkle a little salt and pepper on the beef.
Once the beef is browned spoon it onto a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
Return the beef to the same skillet, and adjust the heat to medium. Add the Worcestershire sauce, dried onion flakes, cooked bacon and stir to combine. Sprinkle the water on top of the ingredients in the skillet.Cook and stir for a minute or two or until the onion flakes have softened and the water evaporates.
Slice the Rolls, Layer Cheese
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
Use a serrated bread knife to carefully slice the entire package of attached Hawaiian rolls in half, creating a bottom and top layer.
Place the bottom layer of the rolls on the parchment paper and cover with the slices of American cheese. Use a few extra slices of cheese if you'd like to add to the cheesiness of the bottom layer.
Spread the cooked meat across the cheese slices to evenly distribute the beef so that each slider will have plenty of meat.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef.
Place the top of the rolls over the beef and cheese. Brush the top of the rolls with the melted butter and sprinkle the sesame seeds across the top.To Make Ahead: At this point, you can cover the rolls on the baking pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate them until you are ready to bake. I recommend baking within 24 hours to ensure the rolls don't dry out. When it comes time to heat the sliders follow the heating instructions below. Keep in mind, that the chilled sliders may need a few extra minutes in the oven.
Bake and Serve
Place the baking sheet with the rolls in the preheated oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the tops of the rolls are lightly browned and the cheese is melted.
Use the serrated knife to gently cut along the lines of the rolls and cut through to the bottom roll.Serve with an assortment of condiments, relish or pickles. .

Notes
Be careful not to overbake the sliders. Check them after 10 minutes of baking. Since the ground beef is already cooked and the rolls are pre-baked, we just want to melt the cheese and give the top of the rolls a light brown "toasting." I've always found 10-15 minutes is plenty of time.
