Instructions
Prep Wonton Wrappers and Filling Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350°In a large bowl, combine ham, onion, red pepper, grated cheese, sour cream, and hot mustard, set aside. Spray a miniature muffin cup pan with Pam. Press wonton wrappers into each cups.
Melt Butter, Bake Wrappers
In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of soy sauce. Brush butter mixture over each each wonton wrapper. Bake for 8 minutes, or until very lightly browned.
Fill Wontons and Bake Again
Remove the baked wonton wrappers from oven, spoon ham mixture into each cup. You'll want to fill each cup. Return the pan to the oven and bake for 7-9 minutes longer or until heated through. Garnish with diced green onions, sesame seeds and a few dashes of soy sauce. These are delicious served warm from the oven, or at room temperature after they've cooled. Makes about 36 wonton stars.
Notes
Be sure to dice the ham and red pepper into very small pieces. You'll want to fill each wonton cup as full as you can and small pieces make it easier to ensure that every bite and every wonton is packed with all of the ingredients.
