Pan-Roasted Asparagus

INGREDIENTS Fresh Asparagus Lemon Light Olive Oil Salt & Pepper

Here's the best way to keep asparagus fresh; trim the ends and place the spears upright in water.

When you are ready to pan-roast the aspargus, snap the ends and place the spears in ice water.

Pat dry the asparagus spears.

Spread the spears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush with the light olive oil.

Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 450° F for 15 minutes.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top of the asparagus.
