Cook on the stovetop or in a slow cooker. Both ways work great to create a delicious Irish Stew!

If you make your stew on the stovetop, cook the carrots, parsnips and onion for a few minutes before adding to the broth...

QUICK TIP

...add the veggies after the broth and meat have simmered for at least an hour.

Top the stew with bay leaves and parsley. The bay leaves add GREAT flavor to Irish Stew.

If you prefer not to use beer or wine  swap with the same amount of beef broth and increase the Worcestershire sauce to two tablespoons.
