Ready in less than an hour!

It starts with an EASY pat-in-the pan pie crust. Made from scratch, but no rolling pin needed!

CHEESEBURGER PIE CRUST INGREDIENTS 1 ⅓ cups of flour ½ teaspoon salt ½ cup shortening

Use your fingers to spread the crust in a 9" pie plate. This does not need to be perfect. Bake for 15 minutes.

While the crust bakes, combine all the filling ingredients in a skillet on the stove.

CHEESEBURGER PIE FILLING INGREDIENTS 1 ⅓ pounds ground beef ¾ cup onion 1 clove garlic  ½ teaspoon salt ¼ cup flour ⅓ cup dill pickle liquid ⅓ cup milk ½ cup chopped dill pickles 2 cups cheese 

All baked! This is the sturdy, flaky base for the cheeseburger ingredients. Note, this is NOT a perfect looking crust and that's totally fine.

Place the cheeseburger pie filling mixture in the baked crust and put the pan back in the oven.   

 There's cheese in there, all melted and delicious, but add a layer of cheddar cheese on top and pop it back in the oven for the full cheeseburger effect.  

It looks like this out of the oven, but the real magic happens when you garnish with tomatoes, sliced onion, pickles and sesame seeds...

Remember to serve plenty of ketchup and mustard and a few extra pickles on the side with your cheeseburger pie.
